With more than 15 years of experience in educational technology, Keith Bonds oversees the South Orange & Maplewood School District's digital infrastructure, technology procurement, and cybersecurity efforts as the chief information officer for the district. 

In an age when digital intrusions against public institutions have sharply increased, Bonds works hard for the district to be proactive about data governance. His leadership has ensured that the district maintains rigorous safeguards, compliance with state and federal standards, and reliable access to technology for teaching and learning.

Before joining SOMSD, Bonds held technology leadership roles in the Hamilton Township School District and the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, where he advanced system integration and supported district-wide technology initiatives. Known for his steady and forward-looking approach, he is respected for aligning technology with instructional priorities while ensuring that schools remain secure, reliable, and prepared for the future.
